Afterland Lore

Life in Afterland

In the year 2067, the world as we knew it came to an end. A catastrophic nuclear disaster, triggered by a global conflict, left the surface of the Earth uninhabitable. The once-thriving cities turned into wastelands, and the remnants of humanity had no choice but to seek refuge underground. Thus, the story of Afterland begins.

The Rise of Agro-Culture

With the surface irradiated and barren, traditional agriculture was impossible. Necessity being the mother of invention, the inhabitants of Afterland turned to hydroponics and genetic engineering to develop new forms of sustenance. Drawing inspiration from the cultural icons of the old world, they began to grow crops that were both nostalgic and nutritious.

A Glimpse of Hope

Despite the hardships, the people of Afterland remained hopeful. Their underground world was a testament to human perseverance and adaptability. The shared experience of surviving the apocalypse and rebuilding from the ashes created a strong sense of community and purpose.

The legends of the old world lived on through the crops they grew and the stories they told. The Coke and burgers were more than just food; they were symbols of a bygone era and the enduring spirit of humanity. As the survivors looked to the future, they dreamed of a day when the surface would heal, and they could once again walk under the open sky.

Until then, the underground bunkers of Afterland were not just a refuge but a new beginning, where the seeds of a brighter future were sown with every harvest.
