## Introduction

Welcome to Afterland, an immersive play-to-earn experience set in a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk world. Developed within the Telegram Web App on the TON blockchain, Afterland offers a unique fusion of farming simulation and sci-fi adventure.

## The inspiration Behind Afterland

As avid enthusiasts of DeFi and blockchain innovation, our team eagerly anticipated a project that would harness the true potential of blockchain within the gaming realm. Over the past six months, there's been a surge in web app applications on Telegram, many of which are play-to-earn ventures. However, a majority of these projects lack innovation, merely using the play-to-earn gaming model as a means to promote their tokens. 

Our goal with Afterland is different; we're striving to deliver a distinctive gaming experience comparable to popular web2 mobile projects, all within the confines of Telegram!
